This very rare 1860 Campaign Ferrotype pendant, tintype, token showcasing John Bell and Edward Everett, associated with the presidential campaign of Abraham Lincoln in 1860. This is a metal detector find so the both the tintypes were rusted. I did a couple computer printouts and put them in place of the originals so it would be more presentable. The rest of the piece is still in good condition, it’s still legible and has quite a bit of its original gold color, especially on the Bell side. Crafted from thin brass material with a reeded edge this pendant is a valuable and sought-after collectible item that holds historical significance from the 1860 presidential election. Size is approximately 24 mm or 1″ in diameter x 3 mm or 1/8″ thick.
