Very Rare, 1970’s Vintage 42. Grand Repousse Brass Lion Head Sconce, Large Door handle etc. Extremely hard to find. Large and majestic repoussé brass lion head door handle in the Mughal style. Consisting of a tapered circular form with a proud roaring lion’s head finial which is set above scrolling leaf banding followed by sectioned panels comprised of circular convex decoration, ending in foliate banding and a reeded melon form knob. This piece would look extremely grand as a front door pull to an elegant home or used as interior decoration.
